Harp concert Inge Louisa
Harpist Inge Louisa will give a free concert on Sunday afternoon, August 11, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dominicuskerk in Amsterdam. She brings a varied program with harp and voice in which classical works are alternated with film music, contemporary music, jazz and her own compositions and arrangements.

Inge Louisa (23) discovered her passion for the harp at the age of 9. In addition to her high school education, she studied at the Young Musicans Academy of the Tilburg Conservatory. She continued her harp training at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Erika Waardenburg and Gwyneth Wentink. In June 2023, she obtained her bachelor's degree with excellent assessment. In addition to her harp studies, she has taken singing lessons in contemporary and jazz music.
In recent years she has won many prizes at national and international competitions. She won the 1st prize at the Rosa Spier harp competition and the Archipel Music competition and the AMPA Willem Twee talent prize. She has also won prizes at the International Harp Competition in Portugal, the O'Carolan Festival in Ireland, the Princess Christina Competition, the interdisciplinary Goodmesh Competition and at the Brabant School Soloist Competition.
Inge Louisa has performed at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Doelen in Rotterdam, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, the Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, the Bach Festival in Dordrecht and at TV program Podium Witteman and NPO Radio 4.
Her concerts are varied and she likes to show how versatile the harp is.
