A little bit of commotion never hurts, and Emei knows that like no other. The Ivy League-educated pop star returns to her theater roots with her EP 'Night At The Opera'. We know the Chinese-American singer for her playful and catchy songs, which invite you to sing along at the top of your lungs. Emei grew up singing Chinese pop and sang along to her parents' West Side Story CD. This led her to participate in Chinese versions of Idol and Dancing with the Stars at the age of 15. After this, she earned her degree in cognitive science at Yale University and began uploading original music, which led to her first EP ‘End of an Era’. She truly broke through with the single 'Scatterbrain', which was named one of the best pop songs of 2023 by Spotify. In 2024, she was named a Spotify's Artist to Watch and toured Australia. A year later, a tour through the United States and Europe followed, and on Monday, March 22, she returns to Melkweg!
