The evening will be concluded by our spoken word artist Atta de Tolk. Back by popular demandOur annual event at the Melkweg. This time an important evening about fatal police violence. A heavy, but important subject that affects those involved and society. Based on three themes, we will examine which choices and dilemmas play a role and where there is room for improvement: institutional racism, the relatively large number of victims involving 'confused' behaviour, and the access of surviving relatives to the file. The personal experiences of surviving relatives form the starting point of the evening. We will reflect on profound experiences and difficult questions. We hope for an evening with room to listen, think critically and engage in conversation with each other.
