Vibrant springboard

During the performances, young Amsterdammers present their work in the open air. They make their own voices heard and share personal stories in a program where music and spoken word come together.

The performances align with the work of Meervaart Studio, a creative community in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. Since 2004, young Amsterdammers aged 15 to 26 have been able to get involved in a multidisciplinary workshop program here. There is room for disciplines such as music, dance, theatre, language, visual arts, film, and photography.

Collaboration with Blauwe Zone Festival

For this edition, 24 uur Nieuw-West is collaborating with the Blauwe Zone Festival, a local arts and culture festival in Nieuw-West. The 24 uur Nieuw-West programme features around 20 activities organised by the Blauwe Zone Festival.
