There’s no secret password, but cocktail bar HPS still manages speakeasy cool near Amsterdam’s centre. The menu is a bible of carefully crafted cocktails with a hint of Tiki, pre-prohibition classics, and originals. The owners did a solid job of evoking a sultry vibe with glimpses of luxe wallpaper, cosy Chesterfields and uniforms of fitted waistcoats.
