SWEETS hotel is a one-of-a-kind hotel located across Amsterdam in 28 different bridge houses – the former residences of the city’s bridge keepers who managed the boat traffic of the busy canals by opening and closing bridges. Each bridge house has been designed into a tiny one-bedroom hotel suite that accommodates two people. .

The bridge houses, now transformed into independent hotel suites, are perched on the bridge and offer panoramic views of the surroundings. Some bridge houses are national monuments, some are in the middle of a bustling intersection and others are set against a quiet neighbourhood lake. All have inspiring views of Amsterdam’s canals.
