Taking a canal cruise is one of the most popular things to do in Amsterdam. And now it couldn’t be easier to explore the city from the water, thanks to the Canal Cruise Ticket. No need to wait in line – simply buy the ticket online and receive it directly to your smartphone. The ticket is valid for all major canal tour operators and there’s no need to book ahead, so just hop on a canal boat of your choice at a time that suits you*.
How it works
After purchasing the Canal Cruise Ticket online, you will instantly receive the e-ticket by email. No need to print it out – just show your smartphone displaying your unique barcode at the canal company of your choice for easy access. Each ticket is valid for one regular Amsterdam canal cruise of your choice with any of the participating tour operators, and you can take a cruise at a time of your choosing*, with no need to reserve. Kids’ Canal Cruise Tickets (4-12) are half price.
Please note: you will receive an e-ticket instantly after your purchase. You can collect your city map and your copy of the I amsterdam Magazine at the I amsterdam Store at Central Station (north side).
*During the Amsterdam Light Festival, (29 November 2018 to 20 January 2019), cruises after 16:00 require an additional fee and are subject to availability.

During this period, cruises later than 16:00 using your Canal Cruise Ticket require an additional fee (amounts vary per canal company) and are subject to availability.
