SUSTAINABILITY

De Rode Hoed is part of Amerpodia. At Amerpodia, sustainability is high on the agenda. Our kitchen works with local, organic and seasonal products as much as possible. Preferably vegetarian. And from the idea of encouraging conscious consumption as much as possible. We especially choose sustainable alternatives and suppliers who, like us, are involved with our planet. All year round.

Recycling programs ensure responsible disposal of materials such as paper, plastic and glass, minimizing waste.

We use energy efficient lighting in the various meeting rooms and our technology in the main hall equipped with only LED lighting to reduce unnecessary energy consumption.

ACCESIBILLITY

At de Rode Hoed we strive to make the venue and programs accessible to everyone as much as possible. Despite the monumental status of the building and presence of several floors and stairs.

The main hall and catering area are on the ground floor which is accessible without steps or stairs. In addition, the building is equipped with a disabled toilet and wide entrance doors with no threshold.
