Theatre halls & Breakout Rooms

Impressive product launch, small meeting, international trade fair, fashion show, seminar or congress. Endless combinations can be made with the number of Theaterhalls and the large number of breakout rooms we have to offer.

Our Theater halls offer a stage for every event. International conferences for 800 people in the Red Hall with foyers and a multifunctional room for 270 people in the Blue Hall. Plenty of workshop- and breakout rooms, with 10 meeting rooms and 2 studios to offer.

Sustainability & CSR (Corporate social responsibility)

On the roof of Meervaart 300 solar panels supply energy during business events. Together with LED lighting in our venue, we are able to reduce CO2 emissions.

Next to being a sustainable event location, we are committed to talent development and arts education for young people. All event profits directly contribute to our ‘Meervaart Jong & Studio’ art and talent programs. By organizing your conference or event at Meervaart, you contribute to this!

Sustainable Event Location

Meervaart proudly holds the BREEAM-NL In-Use certificate ‘Very Good,’ an internationally recognized standard for sustainability. This certificate reflects our commitment to reducing environmental impact and establishing ourselves as a sustainable event venue and theater.

Key measures include installing 300 solar panels, replacing heating boilers, upgrading to LED lighting, and improving air treatment systems. These efforts have resulted in a reduction in CO2 emissions and achieved an Energy Label A.

Our initiatives focus on reducing gas, electricity, and water usage, generating renewable energy, and recovering waste heat. For instance, the halogen lights in our theater halls were all replaced with LED systems, saving significant energy.

These achievements reflect our ongoing dedication to sustainability while reinvesting energy savings into further improvements.

Accessibility at Meervaart

Meervaart is fully accessible for wheelchair users and individuals with reduced mobility. All public areas can be reached via elevators, and an accessible restroom is located in the foyer near the standard facilities.

Our venue accommodates wheelchair users with designated spaces in both the Red Hall and Blue Hall. Both Red Hall and Blue Hall offer spaces for wheelchairs, with additional seats reserved for companions or assistants.

Hearing Assistance

For guests who are hard of hearing, both the Red Hall and Blue Hall are equipped with hearing support systems to enhance their experience.
