The Hard Rock Cafe has a more distinctive history than any other event venue. Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton founded the Hard Rock Cafe in 1971 because they were missing authentic American cuisine while living in London. When the restaurant became successful in 1979, Eric Clapton, who was a frequent customer, marked his spot by hanging his guitar over his chair. We now have over 80,000 unique items on display in our restaurants and hotels all over the world, thanks to the memorabilia that began here. How unique is it to have a venue with such a history for your meeting, dinner, or event?
The cafe has 6 rooms spread over two floors. Some of the different rooms can be closed off from each other, which offers more flexibility. You can immediately switch from a meeting in one room to a reception, dinner or break in the other room. Each room has its own unique element!
Sustainability
At Hard Rock Cafe Amsterdam, we believe in nourishing our community while protecting our planet. Our commitment to sustainability shapes every aspect of our operations, from sourcing ingredients to reducing waste. One example out of many is that we have ‘Locally Sourced Ingredients.’ We prioritize partnering with local farms and suppliers to ensure that our ingredients are fresh, seasonal, and sustainably grown. This not only supports our local economy but also reduces our carbon footprint.
Accessibility
Our restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring a comfortable experience for all guests. We have a dedicated wheelchair-friendly bathroom, designed with ample space and safety features to accommodate mobility needs. Additionally, we provide a wheelchair elevator, allowing easy access to different levels of the restaurant without barriers. Your comfort and convenience are our priority, and we're committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy their visit. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any special requirements!
