Grief as a form of love

Together with actors who are or have been in treatment at ARQ for traumatic grief, we explore grief as a form of love. Love that refuses to cease when a loved one disappears. Grief as an animal: threatening, elusive and comforting. Should we tame it, feed it or eat it? Can it safeguard the connection with whom or what we have lost?

In a city where there seems to be little time and space for visible sorrow, we look for ways not to hide grief, but to carry it - on the body and in the public space.

Where can we stable and display the grief animal?
