Nieuwe Noten Amsterdam: Sounds Like Juggling - Warboel
What happens when a composer and a juggler join forces? Thanks to self-built instruments, juggling becomes music, and music is made by juggling. With surprising juggling grooves and poetic images, a whole new genre is created, unique in the Netherlands.
Nieuwe Noten Amsterdam: Sounds Like Juggling - Warboel
Muddled
Composer Arthur Wagenaar and juggler Guido van Hout join forces and merge music and juggling into something completely new.
Warboel is a musical juggling performance about connection and loneliness. Two music jugglers, a singer and a local choir in each city initiate a ritual in which the audience and the performers are challenged to make connections with each other. Is that healing or does it just become one big tangle?
