A theatre performance about secrets and family drama
8 Women is based on the play by Robert Thomas and the film of the same name by François Ozon. The production tells the story from a female perspective. During a snowed-in Christmas gathering at a remote country house, eight women become trapped. Behind the facade of a family celebration, old wounds, rivalries, confessions, and suspicions slowly surface.
Sharp, playful and emotionally charged
The production is not a copy of the original, but a unique interpretation. Teatr Forma incorporates suspense, humor, and drama into a theatrical language that is both accessible and layered. The eight characters take center stage: women who are watched and judged, but who ultimately take control of their own story.
Developed within Her Stage LaB
