Imagine: a stage where actors, musicians, and an illustrator build a story together — live, on the spot, led by a single conductor who shapes the performance with hand signals. That is Soundpainting.

Soundpainting is a series of immersive shows in which theatre, music, dance, beatbox, and live illustrations come together into one large, fluid whole. No two performances are the same. The scenes you see, the music you hear, the drawings that appear before your eyes… They are all created in the moment.

On Saturday, May 2, Soundpainting: The Big Show performs. This is Soundpainting at its best: a large cast of international artists fills the stage with theatre, dance, music, beatboxing, and live visual art – all at once, all live. Expect exciting interplay, music that strikes you right in the heart, and a show that proves theatre can be much more than you thought .
