In 'Out of Hands', young dancers and metal musicians (ages 15-24) join forces for a raw, energetic, and emotional journey. Take a dive into the underworld of teenage life at the Flemish Cultural Center de Brakke Grond.
In ancient myths, youth often symbolized purity, innocence, and hope, but behind that ideal lies a very different world: one of unbalanced bodies, dark thoughts, and blossoming sexuality. For Out of Hands, choreographer Michiel Vandevelde assembled a group of dancers and metal musicians between the ages of 15 and 24. Together they take you on an intense journey into their underworld; straight into the pain of being a teenager.
