Annelinde Bruijs / Maartje Wortel / Suze Milius - A View From Nowhere

Hesitantly, they begin to think, talk, stutter and golf. No one gets anywhere; not in thinking, not in talking and not in golfing - perhaps in stuttering. Yes, perhaps in stuttering.

In this musical and philosophical performance, the tension between the desire for certainty and the failure of speech is spun out in a ninety-minute composition by Annelinde Bruijs. Following the successful Ground Floor at Orkater, A View From Nowhere is the second collaboration between composer Annelinde Bruijs, writer Maartje Wortel and director Suze Milius. With this, they continue their musical research into the verbatim musical, in which spoken language forms the basis for a new libretto.
