The Old Man is Amsterdam’s go-to shop for all things board sports. The ground floor boasts extensive clothing collections by various lifestyle brands, plus plenty of accessories – think sneakers, slip-ons, bags, caps, belts, sunglasses and watches.
Brands include Burton, Quicksilver, DaKine, Roxy and Billabong. And the first floor is boarder’s heaven: find wake-, skate-, surf- and snowboards and all additional gear you could possibly need. There is a waxing service to get your board ready for winter, too.
The shop is situated in the cute yet bustling Damstraat, so it’s definitely worth a visit. But just in case you can’t make it, they offer their entire range of goods in their online shop, too.
