A new generation of artists is turning electronic music, performances, and club nights into a totally new experience. From London and New York come Loraine James, Anysia Kim, and 8ULENTINA with an innovative sound that is both intense and intimate. The program Nothing Here Now - Transmission Interrupted celebrates trans, non-binary, and female artists who are pushing the boundaries of the sonic spectrum.
Loraine James
With a minimalist setup and boundless creativity, Loraine James fuses the glitch aesthetic of IDM with an improvisational, jazz-rooted approach. On her latest album Detached From The Rest Of You (2026), released via Hyperdub and described by herself half-jokingly as her 'IDM pop star album', the production is reduced to subtle clicks, glitches, and spatial arrangements. As a result, her own voice takes on an even more prominent role.
Anysia Kym
Producer, drummer, and vocalist Anysia Kym, hailing from the Bronx, belongs to a new generation of New York artists blurring the lines between experimental electronics, R&B, and electronic music. Following the breakthrough success of Truest (2024), she further expanded her musical universe with her most recent album, Purity , the critically acclaimed collaboration with producer Tony Seltzer. By weaving together electronic glitches, UK jungle, soul, and intimate songwriting, Kym creates music that is both emotionally direct and sonically adventurous.
8ULENTINA
New York-based electronic composer, interdisciplinary artist, and DJ 8ULENTINA combines layered sound design with percussive intensity, storytelling, and a strong sense of theatrical expression. Drawing on his SWANA background (Southwest Asia and North Africa), he draws upon regional folk traditions and working methods such as improvisation and collaboration. This same approach also forms the basis of SILLAGE, his event series and record label.
CROUSES
KROES is the project of Amsterdam-based artist Lau Breukhoven and explores the intersection of live performance and music technology. Driven by a fascination with nuance, the work brings together technical experiments with a poetic sensibility, revealing hidden histories and the beauty of the seemingly everyday.

For sign.nah, music is a means of release: a channel for righteous rage and sweet chaos that sets the crowd in motion. The core of their DJ sets is formed by a deep love for bass-driven sounds, sharp percussion, dub, and experimental club music from the Global South.
El Bickers
Moderator El Bickers is an author, researcher, and DJ, born in the United Kingdom and living in Amsterdam, whose work connects in-depth research with the raw energy of the dance floor.
