A six-hour back-to-back set
Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren are two DJs who have been establishing their own sound in electronic music for decades. They are known for their lengthy sets, in which patience and build-up take center stage. Together, they form a duo that speaks the same musical language: progressive, profound, and emotional. During Amsterdam Dance Event, they will play a six-hour joint back-to-back set.
Music that unfolds slowly
In six hours, as a listener, you build something with the DJs behind the turntables. The set evolves from warmth to groove, from tension to emotion. Cattaneo and Warren read the room and respond to what the dance floor needs. This demands attention from the listener, but also gives back. The most beautiful moments are not in the peaks, but in the transitions.
Sudbeat, Global Underground and Westerunie
Cattaneo and Warren are closely associated with labels such as Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, and Global Underground. These labels represent a timeless, deeper approach to electronic music. The event takes place at Westerunie, an industrial venue in Amsterdam West with a dance floor suited for this type of long, immersive set.
