DJ International Records presents: Chicago meets Amsterdam

Chicago House Music at the Amsterdam Dance Event

DJ International Records is one of the most influential record labels in the history of House Music. The label was founded in Chicago in 1985 by the late Rocky Jones and nurtured artists who shaped the genre worldwide. More than four decades later, the label still stands for authentic underground electronic music.

A historic line-up of pioneers and new talent

The showcase brings together a mix of founders and contemporary artists. Robert Owens and DJ Vivona stand alongside Bianchetti, DJ E-Funk, Mr. Skin, and TWOEF. Together, they represent the breadth of the DJ International sound: from classic Chicago House to the contemporary underground scene.

50:HERTZ as a stage for House Music

The showcase takes place at 50:HERTZ House & Techno Club on Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam. The club provides a fitting backdrop for this tribute to a genre that has been influencing that same city for decades. It is an afternoon program, accessible to enthusiasts from the very beginning as well as newcomers.
