On 2 April, Amsterdam becomes a global dancefloor — and every beat becomes a lifeline for animals in war and crisis zones. We're raising €50,000 for emergency animal aid in Gaza, Lebanon, Ukraine and beyond. Join us live at Studio Desmet or tune in online for a night of curated DJ sets by Rev Radio, powerful stories from real-life animal heroes, and one shared mission. You can be a hero too.
Dance4Heroes is a music-driven fundraising initiative by Animal Heroes — turning dance, DJs, and collective energy into emergency care for animals in crisis zones worldwide. It's built on a simple idea: music moves people, and when people move together, they act. By tapping into arts and culture, we connect with creative communities and reach audiences that traditional fundraising often can't. For the brave animal heroes on the ground, knowing their work is seen and supported is powerful motivation to keep going.
The programme
In collaboration with grassroots DJ collective Rev Radio, the night features sets by DJ Shimy, Nessie b2b Zeus, VIKSKA, and a special guest — a blend of warm groovy sounds, energetic house beats, and the deeper side of the UK bass scene. Woven between the music are five short films spotlighting real-life animal heroes: from Gaza's youngest vet to the volunteers running clinics across Egypt, the West Bank, and Ukraine. Each moment of pause reconnects the dancefloor with its purpose.
