Musicians day
Saturday June 1, 2024 it is time again for the knowledge sharing and networking event of the Dutch music industry: the Musicians Day. That day, ambitious musicians can discover themselves, gain new knowledge and meet other musicians and professionals from the music industry. With a program packed with panels, flash lectures and clinics, the novice musician can indulge himself.

Musicians Day
The Musicians' Day has proven to be a success formula and this year, after a sold-out edition, we are not tinkering with the design too much, but we are continuing to innovate in the content. The Musicians' Day therefore facilitates the knowledge needs of Dutch emerging artists with various panels on different topics. For example, Music Rights on Tour will be present again and we have an interesting keynote to open the day. The flash lectures cover topics such as diversity and inclusion, the road to Noorderslag and TikTok. For the full program, keep an eye on werkendag.nl .
Demonstration hours
This year too, there were more than 1,000 listens by music professionals. Bookers, managers, record companies, journalists, publishers, pluggers, radio makers and programmers are ready to discover the next big thing and provide feedback to musicians so they can take their music to the next level.
With representatives from Mojo, V2, Sony Music Publishing, Friendly Fire, Warner Chapell Music, NPO 3FM, BMG, Spotify and Popronde, we have more than 70 professionals ready to assist you. The Musicians Day offers optimal space to pitch music to the music industry. As always, the day ends with the demo panel in which various demos are presented in front of a packed Milky Way and are assessed by several professionals from the stage.
With the industry's most important people in one place, Musicians Day is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your act. In short: a must visit for every musician. Members of Buma/Stemra can attend the Musicians Day for free after registering with Buma/Stemra.
