How and when does the feeling of home begin?
For this project, Kakebeeke spoke with Saskia, Roy, Konca, Hasan, Nadia, and Jaleesa, residents of the largest communities in Nieuw-West. Their personal stories offer an intimate glimpse into what it means to feel at home in a constantly evolving neighborhood.
Combining photography and conversation, the exhibition shows how a sense of home is shaped—and sometimes distorted—by time, architecture, and societal change.
