Timboektoe is hidden on the north beach at Wijk aan Zee. A beach paradise, closed in by the North Sea Canal and the beach and sea. Timboektoe is open all year round with winter dishes to enjoy by our fireplace and in summer we have dishes from fresh salads to delicious barbecue meat! Throughout the year we have an surprising programming so keep an eye on our website! Whether you would like to have a good meal with us, enjoy a winter afternoon by the fireplace or just spend a sunny day lounging on the terrace, Timboektoe is the place to be!
A new look and feel
In 2017, Timboektoe was completely renovated with sustainability as the focus. Sustainability is reflected in the menu with organic food and up to 100 solar panels on the roof. The reward for the hard work came in April 2017 with the Green Key Gold quality mark.

Opening hours
April to September:
Open daily from 10am to 10pm for breakfast, lunch & dinner
October to March:
Monday to Thursday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm (kitchen until 4:00 pm) open for breakfast & lunch.
Friday to Sunday 10:00 – 22:00 (kitchen until 21:00) open for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
