Het Wapen van Londen
Close to the Rembrandtplein on the Amstel, you will find Café Czech and Slovak Cafe, which you also know as Het Wapen van Londen. This cosy café in the centre of Amsterdam is the only Czech-Slovak café in the Netherlands. This bar owes its name to the raised neck gable with pilasters from 1661 on the building.

Czech beers and liqueurs
This café is also called the Cesko-Slovensky Bar and is the only Czech-Slovakian café in the city and country. Enjoy Czech beers: Konrad (draught), Gambrinus, Pilsner, Kozel and Slovak Zlaty Bazant and drink traditional Czech liqueurs such as Becherovka, Fernet and Slivka.
Het Wapen van Londen attracts a pleasant mix of Czechs, Slovaks, tourists (English, Germans, Spaniards, Americans, etc.) and Amsterdammers. There are regular performances, and you can watch football and ice hockey matches on a large screen.
