De Blaffende Vis is what you call a very cosy neighbourhood pub. This brown café on Westerstraat is filled from morning with yuppies, artists and Jordanians, who come here for a cup of coffee and a newspaper. In the evenings, the café attracts students; maybe because the food here is tasty and above all affordable.
