The rich sounds of Persia Ere Lievonen, Pouriya Jaberi + Seyed Ali Jaberi
If there's one place where the use of microtones is self-evident, it's in the Middle East. Persian music, especially rich in microtones, offers many possibilities and parallels with music for the 31-tone organ. That's why organist Ere Lievonen is joining forces with Pouriya Jaberi and Seyed Ali Jaberi, who perform traditional and contemporary folk and Sufi music. Both worlds converge in composed works and exciting improvisations.
