The Los Lobos of Canada

The heart of The Paperboys consists of a trio of talented songwriters and musicians, namely founder Tom Landa, a singer, guitarist and bandleader who immigrated from Mexico to Canada as a teenager, Kalissa Landa, a lifelong violinist and singer with a preternatural sense of melody and Geoffrey Kelly, flautist, guitarist and singer of Spirit of the West, who was already a Canadian music icon when he joined The Paperboys in 1997.

Although they are not a jam band, none of their performances are the same. The Paperboys change their show every time they take the stage. Once the band agrees on an opening song, there is no longer a set list. The song ends, the audience responds, Landa gauges the atmosphere in the room, and the journey begins. Every night. The world may have changed since 1992, but The Paperboys' fan base has remained loyal and even grown.

All events organised by P60 are in principle standing. If you have difficulty walking or have another complaint that prevents you from standing all evening, please let us know in advance.
