Makoto Ozone
Makoto Ozone is a remarkable voice in both jazz and classical music. He was the first Japanese artist to sign an exclusive contract with CBS, followed by his debut album 'Ozone'. Since then, he has collaborated with jazz legends such as Gary Burton and Chick Corea, and his compositions have been performed by renowned orchestras worldwide. In his trio, Ozone brings both worlds together: the structure and precision of classical music and the spontaneity of jazz improvisation. The Japanese master pianist combines classical precision with improvisational freedom at Bimhuis.
