Janna - An intimate theatre tour

Janna accompanies herself on guitar and piano, and draws inspiration from great singer-songwriters from the seventies, among others. Her music is a mix of pop, soul, jazz and folk.

With her warm voice, interpretations and personal style, she touched the coaches, the professional jury and the audience during the TV programme Talent Unplugged. Janna concluded the programme with a convincing win with her impressive rendition of ‘She’ by Charles Aznavour. This established her name.

Immediately after the final broadcast, her first self-written single She Knows Me Now (The Silent Song) was released, a song about listening to the intuitive voice that every person knows from within. This song received a lot of airplay on, among others, NPO Radio 2, in major Spotify playlists and Janna was seen multiple times with notable TV appearances on, among others, Eva Jinek.

After various successful performances at major festivals in the summer of 2025, such as at the Zwarte Cross, Hullabaloo in Groningen and Concert at Sea, Janna started the first part of her own theatre tour in the autumn for sold-out venues throughout the country, from De Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.

On 14 November 2025, Janna played in a sold-out AFAS Live in Amsterdam.

During these shows, Janna, accompanying herself on guitar and piano, and her band (drums, bass/double bass and violin) played, in addition to a large number of her own songs, well-known songs such as ‘She’ and ‘The Boxer’.

Last autumn, Janna could be seen as support for the entire club tour of Hannah Mae, as a guest at a Soulful Christmas show by Trijntje Oosterhuis, and as support for artists such as Guus Meeuwis and RONDÉ.

2026 starts for Janna with a performance during Noorderslag (ESNS) in Groningen, followed by part two of Janna’s theatre tour in January and February, with a sold-out Koninklijk Theater Carré on 25 February 2026 as the crowning achievement of this tour.
