Chamber music with four saxophones

The Arcis Saxophon Quartet is one of the active ensembles in the international chamber music scene. The four musicians — Claus Hierluksch (soprano saxophone), Bernardo Pereira (alto saxophone), Sonia Tcherepanov (tenor saxophone), and Knez Jure (baritone saxophone) — play with their own dramaturgy. Characteristic features include tight interplay and a direct, physical playing style.

Program with diverse styles

The program combines works by Zappa, Erdenebaatar, O'Halloran, and Piazzolla. The pieces flow seamlessly into one another in a continuous structure. Original arrangements connect the various styles and soundscapes. In this way, the listener constantly shifts atmospheres without the music losing its coherence.
