Dominic Miller

Dominic Miller is best known as Sting's right-hand man, but the American guitarist has also released twelve albums under his own name. An absolute highlight from his oeuvre is 'Vagabond', released in 2023 on the high-quality ECM Records label. In Bimhuis, he plays his own compositions from 'Vagabond.'

About Vagabond

The instrumental songs navigate between jazz and folk, between electric and acoustic and between narrative and impressionistic. The recordings for 'Vagabond' took place in the south of France with world-class musicians, including jazz drummer Ziv Ravitz, who often played at the Bimhuis with Lee Konitz and Shai Maestro. Dominic Miller has been part of former Police singer Sting's band since the album 'The Soul Cages' (1991). Together, they have played at over a thousand concerts and composed songs, including the world hit 'Shape of My Heart'.
