The meeting between Francis of Assisi and Sultan Malik Al-Kamil, more than 800 years ago, forms the starting point for the encounter between the musicians of Ensemble Constantinople and Holland Baroque. Together, they float between old and new music, improvisation and compositions, the Far East and the West. Both ensembles prove time and again that interest, research, and creativity lead to unique programs.
