About Umut Veysel Demirtaş
25-year-old Umut Veysel Demirtaş is a classical composer and pianist. In addition to his artistic career, he works at the Concertgebouw. Prior to this, he studied composition in Graz, Austria, and performed in prestigious venues such as Felix Meritis, Beurs van Berlage, Tivoli Vredenburg, and the Concertgebouw. His work is characterized by an intriguing fusion of classical and contemporary influences, in which his Turkish background resonates in a subtle and impressive way. Through his compositions, Umut aims to create connection and bring people together via the universal language of music.
Prior to the concert, there is an opportunity to meet and enjoy a drink in the restaurant.
