Charlotte Spruit

She performs as a soloist and chamber musician, but Charlotte Spruit also enjoys blending art forms. She has collaborated with Jérémie Queyras, the two combining music and painting on stage. Spruit graduated in London and has won numerous awards. Her performing partners include musicians such as Janine Jansen, Rachel Podger, Gidon Kremer, and Tabea Zimmermann. In Amsterdam, she collaborates with pianist Angus Webster. The musicians perform music from the last five centuries.

The "Young Dutchmen" series presents homegrown talent. The musicians, appearing in the Recital Hall, perform works close to their hearts, music that challenges not only the players but also the listeners' ears. The audience will hear music from all stylistic periods, from the Baroque and Romantic periods to contemporary music. The "Young Dutchmen" perform exciting and varied programs.
