Beatrice van der Poel - Na de Stilte (After the Silence)
New, passionate Dutch music. Beatrice van der Poel presents her latest album, Na De Stilte, full of Dutch blues, soul, folk and chansons, with complete dedication.
This Amsterdam artist cannot sit still. Not only does Beatrice sing translations of Jacques Brel with great success and work with top musicians such as Maarten van Roozendaal and Mike Boddé, she also writes her own music!
After six albums and many theatre concerts, a brand new album will be released in January 2026. Full of joyful melancholy, glowing melodies and poetic words of comfort about love, life and death. About an ordinary day that suddenly changes your life in an extraordinary way or about being endlessly on the road to nowhere...
This new album will also be accompanied by a theatre concert.
Beatrice can count on the musical support of guitarist Tim Eijmaal (Sven Hammond Band): a rock-solid duo. In addition to her own work, the audience will be treated to translations of Jacques Brel, John Cale, Bonnie Raitt, Jimi Hendrix and Leonard Cohen.
Beatrice's voice creeps into your ear and nestles there, forever.
