Trio Ventissimo
Trio Ventissmo is a trio consisting of Frederik, Roos, and Emma. Frederik plays oboe, Roos plays piano & bassoon, and Emma plays harp & bassoon. They met five years ago in the YTO (Young Talent Orchestra). Not long after, Frederik came to Codarts Lyceum, where Roos and Emma had already spent some time in secondary school.
Currently, they play together not only in the YTO but also in the JON (Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands). Recently, the trio participated in the Princess Christina Competition, where they won a third prize in the regional final. They also won the Vondelpark Open Air Theatre Prize at the competition. What makes Trio Ventissimo special is that the trio can be heard in many different combinations, which makes a concert extra fun and diverse!
Akari Bastiaens
Akari Bastiaens gained her first stage experience at the age of five. Her pronounced talent for the piano became apparent very early on, manifesting itself even more clearly when she won the Steinway Piano Competition Belgium at the age of six.
Since then, Akari has achieved numerous successes at national and international piano competitions, where she was repeatedly awarded first prizes and special distinctions. In 2023, she won the first prize and the Mozart Prize for the best performance of a work by Mozart at the international piano competition MozArte in Aachen. A year later, the first prize, the press prize, and the audience prize followed at the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede. In 2025, her artistic maturity was once again underscored with the first prize, the press prize, and the audience prize at the Princess Christina Competition, as well as the first prize at the International Chopin Competition for Youth in Szafarnia.
