Little Big

In his band Little Big, the emphasis is on catchy, narrative songs full of melody and contemporary rhythms. The musicians bring experience not only from jazz, but also from pop, R&B, indie rock, and country. Aaron Parks has collaborated with Kurt Rosenwinkel, Dhafer Youssef, Terri Lyne Carrington, Ambrose Akinmusire, Gretchen Parlato, Kendrick Scott, and Marcus Miller, among others. He achieved critical acclaim with two albums on ECM: a solo piano album and a trio album with Billy Hart and Ben Street. He is also a founding member of James Farm, the band featuring Joshua Redman, Matt Penman, and Eric Harland. With Little Big, he has released three albums, the most recent of which was released on Blue Note.
