An informal educational space
Did you know that salons historically functioned as informal educational spaces, often taking place in the intimacy of living rooms, where ideas could be exchanged, personal work could be shared and created, and the works and thoughts of others could be heard and discussed?
Welcome!
Are you busy, but also in need of creativity, inspiration, and relaxation? You are warmly welcome at the salon! At Salon Mille Pas, hosts special conversations once a month while drawing, crocheting, embroidering, or repairing clothes. Usually these gatherings take place online, but sometimes also in person. This edition will take place at Stichting Zacht Beton.
MidSummer
The theme is MidSummer and everything connected to it. As inspiration: What is currently blooming in your life? What are you now harvesting the fruits of? Which seeds did you plant earlier that are beginning to grow? What is ready to mature, and what can you let go of? Just as nature reaches its fullest strength around midsummer, this theme invites reflection on growth, abundance, light, and the things in our lives that are coming into bloom.
A safe and inspiring space
This informal salon revolves around creating a safe and inspiring space where makers come together to draw, craft, repair clothing, or simply engage in something creative.
The aim is to offer a space for development, reflection, and connection — a place where participants can let their thoughts flow freely around a shared topic. A spa for the hands and the mind. If many participants join, we will divide into smaller groups so that everyone has the opportunity to be heard.
