A riding school with a history
The origins of the Hollandsche Manege date back to 1744, but the current building dates from 1882. The riding school has a rich history and has gradually adapted to modern times. In pursuit of sustainability and innovation, the building underwent a renovation in 2019, during which the stables were modernised, and additional pasture was purchased for the horses. In addition to being a place for horse riding, it became a museum and event location.
During a tour of the riding school, you will discover the complete transformation. You start in the museum, look at the spacious riding hall and the renovated stables, and end in the foyer.
The tours are at 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00 and 19:00.
Of course, during the tour, there is also an opportunity to see the horses up close and enjoy their company.
