With dozens of stands, a variety of workshops and informative presentations, the annual IamExpat Fair offers help, support and inspiration to newcomers to the Netherlands – as well as networking opportunities to internationals that have been in the country for longer. The 2025 edition will be held on Saturday, 8 March at the historic Beurs van Berlage in central Amsterdam.

Get support with everyday life and official matters

There’s so much to arrange when moving to a new country: finding a home, choosing a school, learning the language, filing your taxes… Accessing the right information and services is crucial.

At the IamExpat Fair, dozens of businesses offering a variety of services and advice will be in attendance, making sure all relevant topics are covered. Experts are on hand to answer any questions you may have about life as an international in the Amsterdam Area, so you’ll have face-to-face contact and can ask questions in person.

There will be plenty of presentations and workshops to attend, too. Please note that you need to register separately for each workshop. Be quick – these fill up fast.

New iconic location in 2025

The IamExpat fair is the biggest of its kind in the Netherlands. For the first time, it’s taking place at the historic Beurs van Berlage building in central Amsterdam. Built between 1896 and 1903 as a commodity exchange and designed by the influential architect HP Berlage, the Beurs van Berlage is now used for events and conferences, offering a fitting backdrop for the fair.

The new location is easily accessible – just a few minutes’ walk from Centraal Station and Dam Square. Plus, there is a handy underground bike park next door.
