Important to know before your IN Amsterdam appointment

The IN Amsterdam office at the World Trade Center (WTC) in Amsterdam's Zuidas district is open for internationals who are coming to live and work in the Amsterdam Area. Read on for more helpful information for your visit.

When can you visit IN Amsterdam?

Opening hours are Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00.

IN Amsterdam is closed on the following public holidays:

  • 15 March (closed for refurbishment of the reception and waiting area)
  • 1 April 2024 Easter Monday
  • 9 May 2024 Ascension Day
  • 10 May 2024
  • 20 May 2024 Pentecost / Whit Monday
  • 25 December 2024 Christmas Day

  • 1 January 2025 New Year's Day

(Extended) residence card pick-up

To pick up your extended residence card at IN Amsterdam, you need to make an appointment by phone at 020-2547999. Appointments can be made only after you receive a confirmation letter from IND that your card is ready for pick-up.

Getting to the IN Amsterdam office

IN Amsterdam is situated within Tower Two of the WTC Amsterdam complex. Enter via Zuidplein (if exiting the Amsterdam Zuid train/metro station, Tower Two is on the left side of the square). The entrance is on the ground floor. View a map of the WTC Amsterdam towers.

Public transport

Tram: line 5: From Westergasfabriek via Leidseplein, destination Amstelveen. Step out at Station Amsterdam Zuid.Metro: line 51: From Central Station via Amstel station, destination Amstelveen. Step out at Station Amsterdam Zuid.Metro: line 50: From Sloterdijk station, destination Station Gein. Step out at Station Amsterdam Zuid.Metro: line 50: From Duivendrecht station, destination Isolatorweg. Step out at Station Amsterdam Zuid.Metro: line 52:The Noord/Zuidlijn (North-South line) runs from Station Noord to Station Amsterdam Zuid.When departing Station Amsterdam Zuid from the train or metro, please take the exit marked Zuidplein.

Car

If arriving by car, you can use Google Maps navigation. WTC Amsterdam is situated next to the A10 motorway and there is ample parking for tenants and visitors in a parking garage located under the WTC complex. Or learn more about parking options in Amsterdam.
