Workshop: Tempeh

If you’re not familiar with it yet, tempeh is basically tofu’s older, sexier brother. A ridiculously healthy, fermented Indonesian food traditionally made with soy beans, it makes a great meat substitute and it’s downright delicious when cooked well. After this two-hour workshop at Mediamatic, you’ll get your own ‘do it yourself kit’ to take home. If you can’t make the date don’t throw a tempeh tantrum (lol), just keep an eye out for the next one.

Vegan Foodie Festival

Less of a festival and more of a city-wide celebration of plant-based goodness, this event will take place in Amsterdam’s restaurants where there will be special menus, entertainment and promotional offers. The main aim is to promote plant-based products, increase sales for vegan and vegan-friendly eateries, and to offer something different for foodies in the city. Who’s in?
