Discover how women have influenced Haarlem's cultural life
From painting and sculpture to embroidery and writing, you'll uncover how women have influenced Haarlem's cultural life in powerful and creative ways. Starting at the Kenau Statue on the Stationplein, the tour winds through the historic city center, connecting places to the lives and work of artists such as Graziella Curelli, Coba Ritsema, Judith Leyster, Anna van Gogh-Kaulbach, Jeanne Verwey-Tilbusscher and Jacobien de Rooij.
The walk concludes at Verwey Museum Haarlem. Here, Oana introduces the art and stories of women currently on display in the museum. After the tour, participants are welcome to explore the museum independently and continue discovering at their own pace.
