Packed program
In this edition of Popcontact we discuss the disappearance of bands from the charts. Since the early 2000s, their presence in the mainstream has increasingly become a niche, with solo artists dominating the music landscape. How can we foster a culture in which people actively seek out live band performances? Are bands still financially viable and is touring still a realistic option? Are record companies still interested in signing full bands...? How do you break up a band in this day and age?
