In the Netherlands, there are between 2.5 and 4.5 million people who experience problems with digital services.

The design choices behind these exclusionary interfaces are rarely intentional They often stem from a default mindset that unconsciously influences designers This can create, perpetuate, or intensify harm and exclusion, leading to social inequality .

In this program, we explore how thoughtful design choices for digital experiences can support you as a user and pave the way for future designers. The goal is to develop more inclusive and accessible systems. We also examine how policy has prevented (or failed to prevent) the serious consequences of current design practices in the digital world and how this policy can be improved to address these challenges more effectively. The active involvement of experts by experience is crucial in this regard
