The tent of nations: an encouraging story
The Nassar family, originally from Bethlehem, runs the Tent of Nations farm. They purchased their land in 1916 and held the deeds. Since 1991, they have been waging a legal battle with the independent leaders. It turns out their land belongs to the State of Israel. Meanwhile, settlers are intimidating the family, building roads on their land, and have established a new outpost. International volunteers provide a form of "protective presence."
The power of non-violence
The Nassar family was committed to non-violence. They are not intimidated by the challenging circumstances. Their determination and resilience are inspiring. They demonstrate that it is possible to continue fighting for justice, even in the most challenging situations.
