There is plenty to do at NEMO Science Museum during the May holidays. Get hands-on in extra workshops, feast your eyes on the Chain Reaction, and participate in scientific research.
NEMO is closed on King's Day. On all other days, NEMO is open from 10:00 to 17:30.
Workshops and demos
Of course, there are all kinds of extra activities at the museum during the holidays. In the demo Zeker Weten?! , you will discover how scientists proceed step-by-step in experiments. You can get hands-on with workshops and build a sorting machine or a chain reaction yourself. And the Chain Reaction demonstration is shown extra often!
Scientific research: What is your first impression?
Every day, you see all kinds of people around you. You often form your first impression of those people lightning-fast, and it has major consequences. Whether you like someone, want to help them, or would rather avoid them: it all starts with that first glance. But how does that work with children? What do they see, and what do they find important? Participate in the research by Utrecht University and find out how you form a first impression.
