The new exhibition at Nxt Museum explores the evolution of image processing – both by machines and by humans. How do we perceive and produce images? How do machine algorithms influence our perception? What is lost in the process?

Over the past four years, Nxt has staged large-scale exhibitions featuring groundbreaking new media artists. In addition, the museum develops diverse programs focused on art, music, new media, performance and education. Nxt has now become an ambitious international brand in the art world.

Our mission

To change our technology-driven world for the better, at Nxt we search, show and question how technology influences humanity. We do this through art. In this time of ever-increasing technological developments, humanity is confronted with a duality: the promise of power and the fear of the consequences. That is why we started Nxt Museum, the first institution in the Netherlands that focuses entirely on art and technology.
