Why rush headlong in a rhythm that drives the world to frenzy?

Our first encounter begins shoulder to shoulder, facing the capitalism that grips our lives. Musicians engage energetically; speakers leap onto the table with fiery speeches. A rhythm of unexpected encounters carries us through the evening. Dance, music, and language scratch the thin veneer of our capitalist reality, and in the friction of discomfort, warmth rekindles.

Jelmer de Moed is a creator at the Muziekgebouw Production House. In addition to developing his series YOU, he performs in MANA, along with Laura Daelemans and Seppe Indigne, for the Belgian company I Solisti. This production is also under the auspices of the Production House.
